Chrissy Festive Feast
I made 72 of these cupcakes for a VIP function. The cakes were vanilla with rosewater buttercream and chocolate with chocolate buttercream. All the toppers were made with fondant which kept me very busy for quite a few hours.

Triple Chocalot
This is a chocolate mudcake with a chocolate collar made for my husband. My piping is somewhat disastrous as I had misplaced my writing tip. Oh well, I'll perfect it next year!

Flower Bouquet and Football Cupcakes
These cupcakes were made for my son's birthday. Of course the flower cupcakes were for the girls, and you guessed it, the footballs for the boys. They were all piped using buttercream and the footballs were made out of fondant.

Guns and Gangster Hat Cupcakes
I made these cupcakes for my son's Gangster Party along with the Croquembouche you see posted on this site. I traced a template of a gun and cut them out using black fondant. The hats were also moulded out of black fondant.

Moulin Rouge Affair
This cake was made for a Moulin Rouge Theme 30th birthday. The bottom layer is a chocolate mud cake and the top layer is white chocolate.
Aaron's Space Shuttle
This cake was made by my twin sister for her son's 6th birthday. The party was a space theme and everything on the cake was 100% edible except the wire of course.
Ghosts, Skulls and Spiders
The flavour of this cake is raspberry ripple and covered with white chocolate ganache and black fondant. I made the headstone and ghosts out of fondant and piped the spiders in royal icing. Happy Halloween!!!
The Violet Bloom
I was asked by a friend to make a cake with a large open flower as the centrepiece for the cake. Being a novice at cake decorating, I set out making the petals and drying them in flower moulding trays. The only problem with that is I had to join the petals together and somewhow try to make it resemble a flower. I was reasonably happy with the end result and my friend was delighted, but I am sure there would be an easier way to create this flower. Any suggestions???
Berry Delight
I made this cake for a friend's birthday and was the first time I had made a chocolate collar for a cake. Of course there were a few more strands of hair torn from my head as I tried to wrap it around the cake without breaking. But 'voila' all was good in the end.

13 Is a Lucky Number When You Have a Cake Like This
I made this for my son's 13th gangster birthday party. First I made the profiteroles. It's important that when you take them out of the oven you make a small slit in the profiterole to let the steam escape and should sound hollow ready to fill with vanilla custard.
In my wisdom to achieve the spun sugar around the cake, I decided to purchase a Cotton Candy machine. After spending an hour tirelessly spinning sugar, I was ready to decorate my masterpiece. To my dismay, upon returning about half an hour later it had all but dissolved.
I thought it looked a bit "cob-webbish" but my son ate it with great delight, as did everybody else.
